Winding down the trip... some misc fun. Disney World Vacation 2014 part 5......... till next year.

I drew some doodles at Cape may cafe.

Some journaling about going to Monster's Inc. laugh Floor. They had technical problems and they gave us anytime Fast passes. We used the fast passes for Haunted mansion and came back to see Monster's Inc. We love Laugh Floor.

This page was us kidding around in a photo booth. We had so much fun. We had a great day!!

Postcards, Ride Photos and MNSSHP..... Trip to Walt Disney World 2014 Part 4

A few postcards i picked up while at Disney World. I got the first two at the gift shop at the animation academy.
I love the pastel colors of the Princess postcard and the darker image of all the characters in the other postcard.

The next few pages are just a little bit of Epcot world showcase. Basically they are a few of my favorite pavillions to visit. i especially enjoy visiting the Japan Pavillion at Epcot.

Dining at Disney... Disney World 2014... Part 3

One of our favorite things to do at Disney is EAT. We love the food. We also love the characters so we always do some character meals when we are there. These pages show some of our favorites.

 This is at Chef Mickey's. We love to go have a nice breakfast at Chef mickey's with The Fab Five before heading out for a fun filled day at Magic kingdom.

 1900 Park fare is another favorite. Dinner with Cinderella, Lady Tremaine and The Stepsisters is so much fun. Anastasia and Drizella are a hoot and so much fun to interact with.

 Crystal Palace..... who wouldnt want to have breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and friends. Eeyore is my favorite.

Cape May Cafe. Love seeing Minnie in her beach wear. Yummy food. A favorite every visit. 

Garden Grill.... this was a new one for us this visit. We loved it!! Food is delicious. Chip and Dale were so much fun.. 

The next pages are about other restaurants we ate at while we were there. We had a lovely afternoon tea at The Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian Resort. It was very nice. We ate at the SciFi Drive in ... vanilla shake was very YUMMY!! Tony's restaurant in Magic Kingdom was very good and the picture is of the dessert. I love how they draw Lady and the Tramp on the plates.                                                                                   

Disney Smash...

Still continuing from previous posts... My Disney Trip.

 One side of this is about the day we arrived. On our way to The Pop Century resort we stopped at Walmart. We picked up some things to keep in the room.. water, snack, etc... Then we headed to our resort we checked and went to have some dinner at the food court. With dinner we split that wonderful cupcake.. Mickey mouse Oreo Cupcake. It was delicious. The other side is from us going to play miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens. We had a blast. I also saved the wrapper from a hand soap and the housekeeping card from our room.

On this next page I wanted to show our room #s. I used the little disney envelope they give when you check in . It holds the room key and a map of the resort. I decorated one room window and door. I had a lot of fun decorating the window and a lot of people stopped to see it when they passed.

We went to breakfast in Epcot at Akershus in the Norway pavilion.  We had our picture taken with Belle. Beauty and the Beast is Cynthia,s favorite disney movie. The breakfast buffet was good we really enjoyed it. Then later on that day we went back to epcot and stopped at the Japan pavilion. Unfortunately I don't think these lucky cats helped us as Cyn lost her prescription sunglasses. We checked with lost and found and they were never turned in... bummer.....

 Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. It's corny of course... it is Disney after all. But it was great fun. Even my brother enjoyed it and he is always a cranky sort. We ate , we drank , we laughed. The fried chicken is absolutely wonderful.

 The beginning of the Magic Kingdom pages. We also had breakfast at chef mickeys at the Contemporary Resort. I LOVE having breakfast at chef mickeys before going to magic kingdom. It just seems fitting to start the day with Mickey while in Walt Disney World. We were at Magic Kingdom as it opened and got to ride a lot of rides prior to the park getting super super busy. We also ate a few snacks during the course of the day. I took a picture of Peter pan because it seems the only time we ride it is first thing in the morning otherwise it just gets to busy.

In the pocket on the next page I put some journaling cards and of course the map of Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is mine and Cynthia's favorite park to spend time in. We always have a great time when we are there.

I hope you enjoy looking at these pages as much as I enjoyed making them. It was so relaxing every night putting things in my smash book. The pictures I added when I got home.

Smashing my Disney Trip--Part 2

Hi again, welcome to the second entry about my Disney Smash Book. I will continue with some more pages leading up to the trip. I made this page about the Fabulous things about Disney.. or what i feel are fabulous things about Walt Disney World. I kept it pretty simple using Top ten list cards from the smash pads and a tag from K & company paper pad. I also used the black/white polka dotted smash tape. It really does go great in a Disney book.

This next couple of pages are a small blurb about my pet-sitter. She's great. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of her. I did have this great drawing that I colored. I did not draw it. I love it and thought it fit the theme of the page. I want to thank the person who drew it but I do not know who it was. So if you are reading this and that drawing is yours thank you. I love it.  The other side was about packing. I'm a horrible packer. I had to try to re-arrange my packing at the last minute. So the digi from Saturated Canary was highly appropriate.

The next page was about the airport,and the flight. 

I think that's about all for now. In the next part I will tell you about the actual vacation. I have pages I did about the Disney parks, Halloween horror nights and some misc things. It was a fun trip.

Smashing my Disney Trip part 1

Hi... I had written in a previous post that I was going to be documenting my Disney World trip in a smash book. Well I did just that. I put together a personal "smash kit" and took it with me. I was able to smash in my book most evenings before going to bed. I'm going to now share my trip and my smash book here on my blog. I'm going to start with planning and go through the whole trip. I'll show my smash book pages at each step and maybe some other pictures from the trip as well. I hope you enjoy.

My trip was back in Sept- Oct 2012. The planning however started way before the trip. First we had to decide what resort we were going to stay at. We decided on......

After deciding to stay at the Pop Century resort, we started to decide on what ADRs(advanced dining reservations) we wanted to make. Disney allows you to make these 180 days in advance of your trip. We decided on a bunch of great restaurants we wanted to eat at during out trip. This would change a few times prior to our trip. So these pages are when we decided to stay at the Pop Century resort and then of me making our original dining reservations. 

These pages are when we decided to cut back on a lot of our dining reservations. We cut back due to cost considerations. The other page is about getting my lines pin, which is a Disney chat I belong to through touringplans.com I also had to show pictures of our Disney trip countdown. I love going to Disney and drive everyone crazy when we plan a trip to go. 

The next pages are reminder pages... I wrote down little reminders for the trip. I also made a pocket to keep all the check lists in. i always write out tons of lists, packing lists, shopping lists, lists of things we want to do etc...

Fall in DisneyWorld!

Last month Cynthia and I went to Disney World. We went to Mickeys Not so scary Halloween Party and had a great time.I dressed up as Perry the platypus.  Perry is a character from a disney channel show called Phineas and Ferb. I had my picture taken with Cruella DeVille after watching the villians show by the castle at Magic Kingdom. 

We had lots of fun. we arrived at Magic Kingdom early at around 2 pm and had a wonderful late lunch at liberty Tree Tavern... YUM!! 

Then we walked around and rode a bunch of rides including Buzz Lightyear and the Peoplemover. we rode winnie the pooh and Pirates of the Carribean. Then at 7pm the party started. When else but Disney can you go treat or treating as an adult. We had a blast. We also watched the Boo to you parade...which is awesome and saw the hallowishes fireworks show. The fireworks were spectacular. By the time we got back to our rooms at the end of the night we were exhausted and just crashed on the bed. It was a great night. 

We choose the Pop Century as our resort this trip. the place is a lot of fun. the food cart is amazing and the theme is unforgettable. we stayed in one of the eighties buildings and we loved it.

 We had so much fun this trip. We even just spent time hanging out at the resort just relaxing. 

This trip we ate at a number of different restaurants. we were trying to do different things. 

Cinderellas Royal Table

We walked along the Boardwalk and had the most amazing cheesecake brownie EVER!!!!!

In conclusion......... WE HAD A FANTASTIC TRIP.........
Can't wait to go back again.
