Disney Smash Book. #5 Art of Animation, Hollywood Studios, Friends

All the pages to the right are of the Art of Animation Resort. we walked over there one morning. We were staying at the Pop Century so it was a quick walk over the Generation Gap bridge. We took lots and lots of pictures as we meandered around.

The theming is incredible and beautiful. It really makes you feel like you are inside a Disney movie. My favorite was the cars section and The Little mermaid section. The other two sections are The Lion King and Fionding Nemo. The Finding Nemo around is also around the big pool.

We walked thru the lobby and the gift store into the food court and the incredible theming is just immersive throughout the entire place.

We had a great time walking thru this resort. I would love to stay there.

This page was from a get together with a friend we haven't sen in a great number of years. We were best friends from high school and used to hang out all the time. We were able to get together and catch up. We sat at Petals Pool Bar at the Pop Century and just enjoyed each others company. We ate a nice dinner together at the food court. It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to getting together again soon.

Next pages are from the day at Hollywood Studios. We were there at opening.... we rode Toy Story Mania. We rode three times that day... it was a blast.

We went to see the lights, motor, action stunt show. It was a hot day sitting there watching it but it was worth it. Then we did the drawing class at The animation academy. It was so much fun. We both were left wondering why we never did it before.

We drew Eeyore, which was great as he is definitely one of my favorite characters.

We had lunch at Pizza Planet. I know the pizza is less than it could be but it's a quick fun place to have lunch. We enjoyed it. The page next to it I used to talk about our trip to the ESPN club. We had lunch there on a Sunday to watch a football game. We were also with our friend still so it made it extra special. The place was a hoot. It is loud and there are TVs everywhere including the bathrooms. It has a great atmosphere about it.. If you enjoy your sports.... LOVED IT!!!

Thanks for looking.. Have a great day!!

Disney smash.... #4. Halloween

These pages are about going to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. We Had a fantastic time at HHN.  I used the walker girl digi from saturated Canary. It fit my page well. I used a small image for the one side and a larger image on the other page. I colored them in and set the page up before I went on vacation. the rest was added from stuff I collected and stuff I brought with me. I used the spaces on the spider web paper to do some journaling about the haunted houses. Which were AWESOME!

This is a close up of the small image and how I colored it in. I use regular colored pencils.

This is a close up of the colored in larger image and the paper and journaling.

These pages are some of the pictures we took while we were at HHN. I took a picture of the Despicable Me House because my brother and I rode the ride. It was a lot of fun. I love that movie so it was a hoot to go on the ride. My brother just went with me. I think he had fun though. The only other ride we went on while there was Men in Black. We had a blast riding that. The main focus of going was of course the Haunted Houses. We each had our favorite.

This was stuff from the night we went to Mickey's Not So Scary Hallloween Party at magic kingdom. We watched the villians show, hallowishes fireworks show and the Boo to YOU parade. We had a fantastic night. It did unfortunately rain the beginning of the evening but that did not stop us from trick or treating around the park and hitting the candy stations multiple times for lots and lots of Yummy candy.

This is some pictures taken that night. I placed them on the page under the map for the event. I used some washi tape from Queen & company with disney icons on it. I used a journaling card from one of the Smash pads and halloween stickers from k & company.
The last page I want to include in this post is below. All it is is a halloween themed popcorn box. I had popcorn the one night we were at Magic Kingdom and this is the box. I cut it in two and flattened it. Then I just smashed it in.
Thanks for taking a look.

Smashing my Disney Trip--Part 2

Hi again, welcome to the second entry about my Disney Smash Book. I will continue with some more pages leading up to the trip. I made this page about the Fabulous things about Disney.. or what i feel are fabulous things about Walt Disney World. I kept it pretty simple using Top ten list cards from the smash pads and a tag from K & company paper pad. I also used the black/white polka dotted smash tape. It really does go great in a Disney book.

This next couple of pages are a small blurb about my pet-sitter. She's great. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of her. I did have this great drawing that I colored. I did not draw it. I love it and thought it fit the theme of the page. I want to thank the person who drew it but I do not know who it was. So if you are reading this and that drawing is yours thank you. I love it.  The other side was about packing. I'm a horrible packer. I had to try to re-arrange my packing at the last minute. So the digi from Saturated Canary was highly appropriate.

The next page was about the airport, and the flight.
I think that's about all for now. In the next part I will tell you about the actual vacation. I have pages I did about the Disney parks, Halloween horror nights and some misc things. It was a fun trip.

Fall in DisneyWorld!

Last month Cynthia and I went to Disney World. We went to Mickeys Not so scary Halloween Party and had a great time.I dressed up as Perry the platypusPerry is a character from a disney channel show called Phineas and Ferb. I had my picture taken with Cruella DeVille after watching the villians show by the castle at Magic Kingdom.

We had lots of fun. we arrived at Magic Kingdom early at around 2 pm and had a wonderful late lunch at liberty Tree Tavern... YUM!!
Then we walked around and rode a bunch of rides including Buzz Lightyear and the Peoplemover. we rode winnie the pooh and Pirates of the Carribean. Then at 7pm the party started. When else but Disney can you go treat or treating as an adult. We had a blast. We also watched the Boo to you parade...which is awesome and saw the hallowishes fireworks show. The fireworks were spectacular. By the time we got back to our rooms at the end of the night we were exhausted and just crashed on the bed. It was a great night.
We choose the Pop Century as our resort this trip. the place is a lot of fun. the food cart is amazing and the theme is unforgettable. we stayed in one of the eighties buildings and we loved it.

We had so much fun this trip. We even just spent time hanging out at the resort just relaxing.

This trip we ate at a number of different restaurants. we were trying to do different things.

Cinderellas Royal Table
 Food was delicious.
I met my fairy Godmother.

I met Daisy Duck and a crazy alien named Stitch......

We walked along the Boardwalk and had the most amazing cheesecake brownie EVER!!!!!

In conclusion......... WE HAD A FANTASTIC TRIP.........
Can't wait to go back again.
