Winding down the trip... some misc fun. Disney World Vacation 2014 part 5......... till next year.

I drew some doodles at Cape may cafe.

Some journaling about going to Monster's Inc. laugh Floor. They had technical problems and they gave us anytime Fast passes. We used the fast passes for Haunted mansion and came back to see Monster's Inc. We love Laugh Floor.

This page was us kidding around in a photo booth. We had so much fun. We had a great day!!

Postcards, Ride Photos and MNSSHP..... Trip to Walt Disney World 2014 Part 4

A few postcards i picked up while at Disney World. I got the first two at the gift shop at the animation academy.
I love the pastel colors of the Princess postcard and the darker image of all the characters in the other postcard.

The next few pages are just a little bit of Epcot world showcase. Basically they are a few of my favorite pavillions to visit. i especially enjoy visiting the Japan Pavillion at Epcot.

Another year... another disney smash book... Disneyworld vacation sept2014 part 1

 

My Sept. 2014 Walt Disney World Vacation. Above is the cover of my smash book. I used the Simple orange  smash  book. Inside page is just a sticker received from the disney site. I was able to create a cute sticker and then have it sent to me. Next is just a chipboard Mickey and Minnie I had. I tried to keep this book simple. I didn't want it to be super fancy just to be a memory for me

These next pages below are just the maps of the parks and of Downtown Disney and of course the Pop Century resort.

This was the view when we were at the elevators.
We were in one of the 80s buildings and all you saw was Roger Rabbits butt when you had to wait for the elevator. for some reason I found this amusing. i know i know... very childish but hey I was on vacation!

This is a picture of our window. i love decorating the window of our room. We have a purple string of lights in the window as well as a Boo to You banner. I am hoping to add more decorations to our window when we go this year.

Disney Smash #7 shopping and misc...

 Above and below are pages I made about some of the things we picked up on on trip. We shopped a bit at Downtown disney. I saved some of the tags and took a couple of pictures of things we looked at and things we purchased. The page below is two postcards I purcahed from the Japan pavilion in Epcot. They are so pretty!!

 These two pages are about Cinderella castle in Magic Kingdom. I love taking pictures of the castle. I wrote about seeing the castle.

 Pages about some misc. things...the luggage claim tickets from our trip home, a wrapper from some fruit chews, and a couple of pictures. The license plate on a car read Bops car. We got a kick out of it cause my brother's nickname growing up was Be-Bop. The other picture is the word Be- Bop on top of one of the Buildings at the resort.

In the pocket I made I had two photo mats. I used them for a couple of pictures that i was particularly fond of.

This page is about things I did on this trip for the first time. I finally wrote some of the rides I tend to shy away from. I loved them!!!

 The page above is about riding Space ranger spin. I scored the max that you can score(see close up below) I love this ride. I was even able to repeat my score... I was so excited.... The other side is more about Magic Kingdom I believe.

Disney Smash Book #6 Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, Epcot.

Hi again.... Here we go with some more Disney Trip pages.



These pages are from visiting Animal Kingdom. I used a postcard to make a pocket to store the map. I used a Disney tag as a journal card. I used some of our pictures from the safari. 


I had purchased some national geographic stickers from a clearance bin and they fit perfectly here. 

This page is the meet and greet with Dug and Russell from the movie "UP". I love that movie. I'm a disney nut and really get a kick out of meeting characters at Disney World.

I made this page from our Epcot day. It was Epcot's 30th anniversary. I kept the Times Guide stating that it was from the 30th anniversay. the park was quite busy that day. We walked around world showcase and I saved the perfume tester paper. It still makes the smash book smell great.

We went to Downtown Disney one day for some window shopping and dinner at Wolfgang Puck express.

I love this page. I just put together a bunch of journaling. I used some different cards I had. It's just all about the trip in one spot.

Disney Smash Book. #5 Art of Animation, Hollywood Studios, Friends

 All the pages to the right are of the Art of Animation Resort. we walked over there one morning. We were staying at the Pop Century so it was a quick walk over the Generation Gap bridge.We took lots and lots of pictures as we meandered around. 

The theming is incredible and beautiful. It really makes you feel like you are inside a Disney movie. My favorite was the cars section and The Little mermaid section. The other two sections are The Lion King and Fionding Nemo. The Finding Nemo around is also around the big pool.

. 

  

We walked thru the lobby and the gift store into the food court and the incredible theming is just immersive throughout the entire place.

We had a great time walking thru this resort. I would love to stay there.

 This page was from a get together with a friend we haven't sen in a great number of years. We were best friends from high school and used to hang out all the time. We were able to get together and catch up. We sat at Petals Pool Bar at the Pop Century and just enjoyed each others company. We ate a nice dinner together at the food court. It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to getting together again soon. 

 

Next pages are from the day at Hollywood Studios. We were there at opening.... we rode Toy Story Mania. We rode three times that day... it was a blast.


We went to see the lights, motor, action stunt show. It was a hot day sitting there watching it but it was worth it. Then we did the drawing class at The animation academy. It was so much fun. We both were left wondering why we never did it before.

 We drew Eeyore, which was great as he is definitely one of my favorite characters.

 We had lunch at Pizza Planet. I know the pizza is less than it could be but it's a quick fun place to have lunch. We enjoyed it. The page next to it I used to talk about our trip to the ESPN club. We had lunch there on a Sunday to watch a football game. We were also with our friend still so it made it extra special. The place was a hoot. It is loud and there are TVs everywhere including the bathrooms. It has a great atmosphere about it.. If you enjoy your sports.... LOVED IT!!!
